I was kindly gifted these plants after a funeral I I was kindly gifted these plants after a funeral I conducted yesterday. The family had the great idea of making a coffin-top arrangement full of individual plants like these, which they curated beautifully onto a board they’d made to fit with a pretty border around it to keep all the plants in. After the ceremony, they gave out plants to everyone there to put into their gardens and remember M ❤️

[Image description: Testimonial from MB - Claire Bradford of Creating Ceremony was the Celebrant who conducted “A Service of Celebration” to honour the love of my life my beloved wife S. Claire assisted my daughters and I in designing the ceremony and, of course, conducted the proceedings. She was absolutely terrific in every respect. Claire was kind, understanding, sensitive, thoughtful, compassionate, sympathetic and supportive. She very quickly fully appreciated what we wanted and she delivered a wonderful service of celebration.
Claire took time with us as a family, asking many questions about my wife, to really understand what a special person she was. She also fully encouraged and supported our daughter to have the confidence to read the Eulogy, being by her side and ready to support her should she have needed it.
Many members of our family and numerous friends have been very complimentary about the proceedings and clearly thought that the whole ceremony was very fitting and appropriate.
We are extremely grateful to Claire for what she did for us to ensure S had a memorable send off and we have no hesitation in strongly recommending Claire’s professional support to anyone.]

My awesome daughter is studying to be a nurse and My awesome daughter is studying to be a nurse and she told me recently about the ‘6 Cs’ of the NHS, which are a set of values for all health and social care staff, which underpins all that they do.
This reminded me of when I’d been asked to describe my company’s ethos when I entered The Wedding Industry Awards in 2018. Without knowing at all about the NHS’s 6 Cs, I had described 6 Cs of my very own! Although this was the first time I’d written them down in this way, I realised that these were the values that run through everything I do as a celebrant, like words through a stick of rock.
Here are my own 6 Cs (link in bio ☝).

Here’s the fabulous Damian doing his thang at th Here’s the fabulous Damian doing his thang at this year’s national finals of The Wedding Industry Awards. I’ve been geeking out about #twia for years now. Ever since my lovely friend @jennyrutterfordphotography told me about the awards when I was training to be a celebrant - how they were the best in the business with integrity and a level playing field for all entrants. Then when I entered for the first time in 2017 - there wasn’t even a celebrant category then but I loved every second of it and met @knightceremonies_celebrant @chloerosefilms @upwalthambarns and @djbrianmole (amongst others) at the awards night, who have been cherished colleagues ever since. Then 2018 - the first year there was a celebrant category - and the utter mindblowing moment of winning the regional and national titles… Fast forward to this week when I attended as a judge for the second year running, accompanied by my gorgeous daughter, and laughed, cheered, hugged and danced* all night with my wedding industry friends including the celebrant contingent @truetoyoucelebrancy @bohoceremonies @mirandathecelebrant @hazeltherainbowcelebrant @myperfectceremony and watched Miranda take the crown and carry the torch for our profession this year.
What a night! Thank you so much, Damian and Anna, for all you do for the wedding industry. You put your heart and soul into these awards and it bloody well shows! You rock!!

[Image description: Testimonial from DWF - My stepfather, sister and I chose Claire to be the celebrant at my mother's funeral and she did an amazing job. She was so warm and compassionate with us as a family and we knew we were in safe hands. Claire was remarkably generous with her time; it was clearly important to her to get a deep sense of Mum. This paid dividends as relatives commented that it felt like Claire genuinely knew her. Claire couldn't have done more.]
